Ferrara, Palazzo Schifanoia (Este residence, or delizia) : the façade. View of the main entrance in Scandiana street. The façade is characterised by a big marble portal realised in 1470 by Ambrogio di Giacomo da Milano e Antonio di Gregorio on drawings by Pietro di Benvenuto degli Ordini. Above the arched white marble portal, there is a big emblem of the Estense family and the Unicorn, one of the araldic device by Borso.
