Collodi and Pescia
Collodi - the native village of Carlo Lorenzini, the creator of Pinocchio - is famous for the park dedicated to the wooden puppet, for the historic centre with the houses that slope down the hillside, for Villa Garzoni or villa of one hundred windows and for the extraordinary citrus garden Oscar Tintori.
Pescia - which is characterized by a medieval structure - is surrounded by enchanting surroundings, especially in the mountainous area of the so-called Pesciatina Switzerland.
