Genoa: St. Lawrence Cathedral
The result of a complete photographic campaign on the Duomo of Genoa, built between the twelfth and sixteenth centuries. The details of all sections of the cathedral, even those inaccessible to the public, are documented with great attention: the exterior (facade, portals, friezes, columns and capitals), the dome, the tribunes, the central nave, the presbytery, the apse , the aisles, the chapels, etc. The photographic corpus also includes all the works by great sculptors and painters, which are preserved inside the cathedral. Among the most important artists: the Gaggini, Giovanni Battista Castello, Carlo Barabino, Luca Cambiaso, Giacomo and Guglielmo Della Porta, Lazzaro Tavarone, Andrea Carlone, Girolamo Piola, Matteo Civitali, Andrea Sansovino.
