Pre-Raphaelites
A very rich collection of works by the major Pre-Raphaelite artists, members of the nineteenth-century movement which characterized Victorian England and which depicts Decadentism and late Romanticism in painting. These artists (Dante Gabriel Rossetti, William Hunt, John Everett Millais, William Morris, Edward Burne - Jones, Ford Madox Brown, John William Waterhouse) tended to medieval art by dedicating themselves to biblical and literary themes (Dante Alighieri and William Shakespeare) , fairy tales, historical and social subjects.
