The Church of St. Ambrose is characterised by a single nave and numerous 14th-century works. It is one of the most rich religious buildings in Florence. It stands out for the paintings by Agnolo Gaddi, Alessio Baldovinetti, Lorenzo di Bicci and above all for the 15th century frescoes by Cosimo Rosselli in the Chapel of the Miracle of the Sacrament.
